With limited kit me and my co-photographer rushed to get our hands on the best kit we could find, which in this case was a broncolor mobalite kit with a beauty dish reflector. While we were getting ready our fashion designer brought in a model and started to get her ready for shooting. Once ready me and my co-photographer took turns to photographer our model while also helping each other out.
After all the inspiration from Rob Mcgrory and Juan Trujillo Andrades I created quite elaborate lighting set-ups and epic post-production backdrops to make the images like more interesting and exciting. As you can see in this one I have added the lighting and electricity to scene to make the image really dramatic.

In this image I removed the view on the right had side and replaced it with a white wall, I then used the scenery to develop some additional objects to put in to the scene, again I think this adds more interest to the scene, but not to much to take away from the clothes.

These next to are my favourite from the whole day, I love the strong colours and and lines in the background, I think they really make the model and the dress come out of the image.

I especially like the way I got the model to pose here, the way her legs are positioned adds more interest to the whole image.

Finally a lighting set-up that Juan taught me, which was quite simply a beauty dish reflector with a grid attached above the subject; this creates quite a soft even light over the subjects face and hair creating some really nice dynamic shadows and contrast.
The whole experience was good fun and I learnt a lot about team work in fashion photography. Stef Bunt loved her images and so did we. You can see co-photographer Rob Passmore's images from this event here :http://rob-passmore.co.uk/
