Like before I gave my models and assistants lots of notice and explainable behind the the images to allow them to understand what I was trying to create.
Shoot One
The first shoot was based on another I had done for as a test, this time I went for a portrait image though as I wanted to narrow down my the view to more of my subject than just my background.

This image was pretty much as perfect as I could get in my eyes, it was an exact representation of what I had in my mind. Because of its darkness it does seem quite dark and moody, and with the gritty graffiti in the background I have made it seem even more dark.
Shoot Two
Another shoot that I really wanted to copy from one of my test shoots, I knew I was never going to come out with the same strong shot I took before but I used the same techniques and methods as I did before.

with the images spliced together again I have come out with this cool shot, still not as strong as my original from the test shoot, but still a good image. I really feel that my subject is feeling pretty scared, and uncertain of his position in his heart and even his life now.
Shoot Three
So a while ago I did a couple of test shoots in Plymouth central park, one of the shots I was trying to get was a shot of my subject looking over the city to show how my subject would be trying to find someone in such a big space. This after scouting around I found that the best place was at the popular waterside space of 'The Hoe'.
Slightly different to what I had tried to shot before I knew that I needed some sort of light on my subject in order for him to show up in the image better, so for this shot I just had a very focused light pointing at his neck from in front of him to bring out the figure of his head. Overall I think of as plain as it is, it comes out quite strong and while it keeps this darkness about the subject is still the biggest park of the image.
Shoot FourThe subject not becomes uncertain of his thoughts and is very tempted to contact his past love. He doesn't know what to do though and so sits in the park almost waiting for her to get in contact with him.

Unfortunately she never calls and the subject is left more uncertain than ever. I feel that there is a very strong connection to this series of images, I feel that the story has really come through just how I pictured it, and although quite dark and sad there is not crying or violence in the images, I wanted the light and composition to say more than the acting, to show its about my ability as a photographer to push forward these emotions, not the people in them.
